We prefer OD - outside dimensions - be taken. This means you would measure from the outermost corner to the outermost corner along the top/bottom of the gasket and up and down the sides. Note: Even if the magnet is not on the outermost side of the gasket, you should still measure all the way to the outermost edge. However, we understand that sometimes you may not be able to get good outer dimensions if the gasket is badly damaged or missing. We can certainly make gaskets based of Dart-to-Dart dimensions for you as long as you note on your order that these are the type of dimensions you are providing. Dart-to-Dart dimensions can be taken from the mid-line of a dart channel or along the existing gasket's dart. If placing a PO via email simply note "Dart-to-Dart" clearly on your PO and if ordering on the website you can add "Dart-to-Dart" in the special instructions field on all of our gaskets.
In a jiffy! If that is not technical enough for you, we operate on a one-business day lead time. If you place your order by 2pm EST we can usually get that shipped out the same day. Below is a map of UPS Ground transit times from our warehouse. Need it sooner? No problem. We'd be happy to expedite the shipment for you.

That's why we're here! Essentially, gaskets can be ordered two different ways; either by matching up profile and dimensions or by manufacture information. You can view the gasket profiles we offer, here. If you don't see the profile you need or if you are unsure, take some clear pictures of the gasket and send them to us at support@gasketsunlimited.com along with the dimensions of the gasket.
If you want to go off Original Equipment Manufacturer information you can give us the oem part number of the model and serial of the unit. Note: Some manufacturers require different information in order to identify the part. Check here for a list of manufacturers and the information you will need to gather for identification as well as a description of where you might find the data tags.
Let us know and we'll get you taken care of. We have a no questions asked warranty policy. It doesn't matter if you made a mistake when ordering we're going to get you what you need. If you are unsure of why the gasket didn't work, we can work with you to figure out what went wrong. In these cases it's best to supply manufacture data so that we can research the unit and compare the order to OEM specs.
